When we first started in the late '70s, our primary focus
was on statistical analysis, time series analysis and demand forecasting.
It was as we developed the expertise to handle the data requirements for some
large scale models that we branched out to more main line IT functions.
We perform a variety of statistical analyses:
- Significance Testing
- Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)
- Factor Analysis
- Conjoint Analysis
- Time series forecasting
Much of our work has been in support of market
research efforts. Historically, or efforts in this area have been as
- Sample Design and Acquisition: We design a
sampling protocol and create processes to acquire sample from our clients
internal data stores (e.g. Customer list, call receipts, etc)
- Survey Administration: If the survey is to be
web-based or internal, we design and implement the survey on our servers
with automated data acquisition. Telephone or in person surveys are
passed on to one of our partners for administration and data collection.
- Results Analysis: We perform all appropriate
statistical analysis on the results, as well as producing reports at the
level dictated by our customers.
